Recently, Aifenlei·Aihuishou, a subsidiary of Womaoxinsheng Group, the largest second-hand electronic products trading and service platform in China, officially reached a cooperation agreement with Carbonstop.
Company Profile
About Womaoxinsheng: Founded in May 2011, Womaoxinsheng Group is the largest second-hand electronic product trading and service platform in China and also the first circular economy enterprise of the type “Internet + Environmental Protection”. Womaoxinsheng Group is committed to becoming a model that combines commercial success with environmental protection, under the mission of “making idle resources fully utilized”.
About Aifenlei·Aihuishou: As an urban green industrial chain project under Womaoxinsheng Group, “Aifenlei·Aihuishou” innovatively designed and developed a community smart recycling system and a comprehensive digital intelligent recycling management platform. Aimed at reducing waste generation at the source and increasing resource utilization, it has achieved full traceability and verifiability throughout the process of recyclables, making it the only large-scale operational model in China with a complete recycling process and a closed-loop business model. By the end of 2021, it had covered 33 cities nationwide, with over 3.5 million cumulative users, more than 10,000 operational devices, and an annual recycling volume of 150,000 tons, equivalent to reducing carbon emissions by 375,000 tons or planting 75 million trees.
Calculating the "Carbon Reduction Account" to Quantify Recycling Actions
In the construction of new waste recycling systems, consumer recycling behavior is a very important part. In the past system, consumers lacked participation, and the perception of low-carbon recycling was low. Most users knew that recycling was environmentally friendly but were not clear on how much carbon reduction it could achieve.

In addressing the issue of quantifying recyclables, “Aifenlei·Aihuishou” has been exploring for a long time until it partnered with Carbonstop. Based on extensive practical experience, Carbonstop tailored a solution for Aifenlei·Aihuishou that integrates calculation, the development of inclusive methodologies, and the formulation of certification standards. With professional guidance from Carbonstop, Aifenlei·Aihuishou completed the calculation of emission reductions in major recycling scenarios, ultimately achieving the quantification of “green recycling actions.”
Through innovation in the “Internet + Recycling” model and technology-driven approaches, “Aifenlei·Aihuishou” has established a recycling system for low-value household waste, known as “point-station-field,” where residents can deposit recyclables. These items are temporarily stored at transfer stations before being sent to sorting factories at the end of the line. Recyclables are meticulously sorted into more than 80 categories and directly delivered to qualified enterprises for regeneration and reuse, thus achieving a cycle of rebirth.
Completing the “Recycling Loop” to Lead a New Trend in Green Development
Precisely quantifying recycling actions is just the first step for “Aifenlei·Aihuishou.” Driving more consumers to participate in waste sorting and recycling to reduce carbon emissions, and completing the commercial “recycling loop,” is the relentless pursuit of “Aifenlei·Aihuishou.”
To incentivize residents to sort and recycle waste, promote waste sorting and reduction at the source, “Aifenlei·Aihuishou” combines waste sorting and recycling with points incentives and environmental protection, achieving a true “recycling loop.”
At the “Aifenlei·Aihuishou” smart recycling machines, community residents scan a QR code via WeChat or enter their phone number to deposit recyclables such as cardboard boxes, paper waste, beverage packaging, and old textiles into the machine. The smart system inside immediately weighs the items, converts the weight into a corresponding amount of money, and credits this to the resident’s account. This is a new attempt by “Aifenlei·Aihuishou” to actively explore a “green inclusive” recycling model.
