Recently, Amazon Web Services (AWS) has entered into a significant partnership with Carbonstop, officially launching the 'Carbon Cloud - International Edition.' Both parties are committed to leveraging cloud computing technology to provide global customers with smarter, more integrated carbon management services, assisting enterprises in achieving their carbon neutrality goals. The 'Carbon Cloud - International Edition' is an innovative product introduced by Carbonstop based on AWS's robust cloud computing and big data processing capabilities, specifically designed for overseas clients.
In 2023, Carbonstop decided to make international expansion a strategic goal, positioning Carbon Cloud Ccloud as its flagship product, aiming to play a more active role in the field of overseas carbon footprint management. Carbon Cloud Ccloud is equipped with the capability to rapidly model and automatically generate carbon disclosure reports under generative AI, as well as integrates a low-carbon supply chain, offering enterprises a one-stop service from carbon accounting to carbon management.
The overseas market is not only a new growth point but also a challenging new territory. Therefore, Carbonstop has partnered with AWS to improve system deployment and problem-solving efficiency technologically, ensuring the security and compliance of data assets, reducing the risk of business interruptions caused by technical issues, and guaranteeing the continuity and stability of operations. Commercially, it aims to establish an efficient intelligence system and cooperation network to increase visibility and recognition in overseas markets, promoting business growth and building a more complete ecosystem.
As a global e-commerce giant, in 2019, Amazon co-launched The Climate Pledge and became the first signatory, committing to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2040, a decade ahead of the Paris Agreement. Inspired by this commitment, Amazon launched the Climate Pledge Friendly (CPF) program, also known as the "Amazon Green Label." This initiative aims to encourage merchants to reduce carbon emissions, with CPF-certified merchants receiving official free traffic support from Amazon, increasing product exposure and click-through rates, as well as boosting product search rankings.
Carbon Cloud can assist companies in making more informed decisions through leading carbon management capabilities, helping them efficiently obtain CPF certification and significantly enhancing their brand influence in the market, providing strong support for achieving sustainable development goals.
By utilizing AWS's global infrastructure and advanced technologies, Carbonstop rapidly deployed highly available and scalable application services across multiple geographic regions, completing project implementation in the UK within just one month.
Carbonstop has also become a member of the AWS Partner Network (APN), successfully entering the international market by leveraging the global network resources of partners, establishing cooperative relationships with more enterprises in countries such as the UK and Spain, resulting in a business growth rate exceeding 30%. In 2024, Carbonstop was successfully shortlisted as a recommended carbon management software provider by Gartner, becoming the only Chinese carbon management software provider recommended by Gartner.
Yan Luhui, during the participation in the 2024 AWS China Summit 'Entrepreneur Day,' stated: "AWS provides substantial support to Carbonstop in terms of basic capabilities. In terms of security compliance and data privacy, AWS's brand endorsement has also enabled Carbonstop's products to gain recognition in Europe." In the future, Carbonstop hopes to provide carbon management services to AWS partners, working together to achieve resource sharing and win-win development.
