Recently, Green Fund Capital released its 2020 Carbon Neutrality and Green Impact Report. As a result, Green Fund Capital became the first private equity investment institution in Asia to disclose the overall carbon neutrality and green impact of its portfolio companies and funds.
Carbonstop participated in and helped complete the product carbon emission accounting and product carbon reduction accounting report.
The report tallied the total amount of CO2 emissions reduced by Green Fund Capital's managed assets in 2020, as well as the green impact in reducing hazardous waste, wastewater, and other atmospheric pollutants besides CO2.
The report also systematically presents Green Fund Capital's green impact assessment system. This assessment system was built by the Green Fund Capital Technology Research Institute and certified by internationally recognized certification bodies for key methodologies.
In the report, Green Fund Capital also details the process of green impact assessment through two specific case studies. Carbonstop provided the methodologies for carbon reduction calculations for these two cases and assisted Green Fund Capital in completing the carbon emission data and producing the carbon reduction accounting reports for these projects.
