With the popularization of concepts such as carbon neutrality and sustainable development, green and low-carbon practices are no longer in their nascent stages but have become increasingly important top priorities. More and more ordinary people are actively responding to calls for low-carbon and carbon reduction, participating in low-carbon actions, practicing small-scale carbon reduction, and collectively safeguarding our green and low-carbon Earth!

As China's first provider of carbon emission management software and consulting solutions, Carbonstop is also taking practical actions to contribute to the dual-carbon goals.
To encourage green and low-carbon travel, Carbonstop held its first internal low-carbon sports competition, “Walk & Win,” in November.
Employees who participated in the activity accumulated 17,429,378 steps over the course of a month. Calculating at 0.6 meters per step for an adult, this equates to 10,457 kilometers, or a round trip along the Mohe-Tengchong line. During this process, participants collectively reduced carbon emissions by 1,092.8 kg, equivalent to the amount of CO2 absorbed by 218 trees in one year.
“Walk & Win” was conducted on the “Carbon Account” mini-program developed by Carbonstop. Employees were randomly divided into six groups, and members of each group uploaded their daily step counts to the mini-program before midnight every day. The Carbon Account automatically calculated the daily carbon reduction.

To encourage such low-carbon behavior, Carbonstop rewarded employees who achieved the highest carbon reduction. The top three employees in terms of carbon reduction received one day of annual leave each. Members of the team with the highest carbon reduction could choose one of the following rewards: a Qatar World Cup 2022 gift package, a two-month fitness card from Laker Fitness, or a sunroof tent.

This competition not only motivated employees to stay active and lead healthy lifestyles but also enhanced team cohesion and engaged everyone in meaningful carbon reduction efforts. Carbonstop hopes to encourage more people to join low-carbon initiatives through such activities.
“Carbon Account” is a mini-program developed by Carbonstop, representing an innovative practice in promoting carbon reduction among consumers. On “Carbon Account,” users can create both corporate and personal carbon accounts, which include over ten scenarios of green living, comprehensively recording personal low-carbon activities.

Carbonstop hopes to leverage the Carbon Account to encourage people to integrate low-carbon practices into their daily lives through actions like healthy cycling, using public transportation, double-sided printing, and turning off screens during lunch breaks. These small actions can contribute to the larger goal of global carbon reduction, exploring various methods of low-carbon and carbon reduction, and turning low-carbon living into a new trend.
Life goes on, and so does carbon reduction. Carbonstop employees are looking forward to the second edition of “Walk & Win”!
