Zero-Carbon Outing on the First Day of April

Recently, Beijing Bank launched the "Carbon Light Plan" at the press conference for the "2023 Beijing Bank Beijing City Sub-center Marathon" and initiated the "Together Spring Walking · Zero-Carbon Long Walk" activity, infusing green momentum into the Beijing City Sub-center Marathon.

The "Together Spring Walking · Zero-Carbon Long Walk" is the first event under Beijing Bank's "Carbon Light Plan," held today at Tongzhou Urban Green Heart Forest Park in Beijing.

As an ecological partner, Carbonstop custom-designed a carbon account mini-program for this event, conducted greenhouse gas emissions calculations during the event, and assisted Beijing Bank in offsetting all greenhouse gases generated by purchasing China Certified Emission Reductions (CCERs), achieving carbon neutrality for the event.

Carbonstop tailored the "Zero-Carbon Long Walk" mini-program for this event and encouraged everyone to participate actively by designing low-carbon task scenarios. Through the activities, participants could not only experience a healthy lifestyle but also learn about low-carbon knowledge through interactions.

Five check-in points were set up in the park. Participants needed to walk to each check-in point and complete tasks including answering questions about green and low-carbon knowledge, scanning the carbon footprint of daily necessities, treasure hunting for carbon reduction products, guessing games about consumer rights protection knowledge, and taking photos with Beijing Bank’s mascot "Xiaojing." After completing these tasks, participants could receive a personalized zero-carbon electronic certificate of honor and green low-carbon gifts.

To encourage everyone to practice green travel methods in their daily lives, the "Zero-Carbon Long Walk" mini-program includes a small feature. Participants can fill in their "mode of transportation today" and "distance traveled to the venue today" when checking in online, allowing them to see the corresponding carbon reduction amount of their green travel, making carbon reduction visible.
