Recently, Lenovo Supply Chain has partnered with Carbonstop to refine the detailed calculation methods for Scope 3 supply chain carbon emissions, working together with suppliers to achieve carbon reduction goals and optimize the supply chain ESG evaluation system.
As one of the earliest companies in China to focus on green and low-carbon development, Lenovo Group has joined the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and has accumulated 17 years of experience in low-carbon development. However, the complexity of the supply chain and the varying levels of supplier capabilities remain significant obstacles to obtaining greenhouse gas-related data from suppliers, making Scope 3 emission reductions a challenging task.
Lenovo serves customers in over 160 countries worldwide. To better optimize end-to-end carbon emission data collection and accounting in the supply chain, set and achieve supply chain emission reduction targets, and analyze the overall framework of supply chain ESG management, Lenovo chose to collaborate with experienced Carbonstop.

"Only companies that truly reduce emissions in 'Scope 3' can be considered ambitious."
For years, Lenovo has been committed to ESG investment and has taken the lead in the industry domestically, even as practices were still in the early stages. Carbonstop has similarly been dedicated to the carbon field for twelve years, continuously accumulating expertise and forming its own carbon neutrality methodology.
In the future, Carbonstop will continue to provide more efficient, professional, and convenient tools and services to businesses, serving as a catalyst for their green and low-carbon transformation and the realization of dual carbon goals.
