20 Days of Walking Creates a Miracle
Walk & Win — Zero Foundation, Easy to Start
Carbonstop has always advocated low-carbon travel for employees. As an annual event during the company’s sports meet, "Walk & Win" kicked off from April 8 to April 27. This Walk & Win lasted for 20 days, aiming to cultivate a zero-carbon habit over 20 days.
Previous Walk & Win events have received enthusiastic responses from employees. In just one month, a total of 17,429,378 steps were accumulated, equivalent to walking 10,457 kilometers if calculated at 0.6 meters per step, which is the distance of a round trip between Mohe and Tengchong.
To ensure the health and fairness of this sports meet, the company set a daily step limit, with a maximum of 10,000 steps per workday and 20,000 steps per rest day. This avoids excessive exercise and ensures that employees can participate in the competition comfortably. (Avoiding too much pressure!)
The "Walk & Win" was conducted on the "Carbon Account" mini-program developed by Carbonstop. Participants were randomly divided into six teams, and each team member had to check in and upload their daily steps to the mini-program before midnight every day. After 20 days of intense competition, the team with the highest total steps was crowned the champion.
Notably, four participants consistently reached the daily step limit, even maintaining 10,000 steps on workdays, showing remarkable perseverance and dedication! Carbonstop specially awarded them the "Persistence Award."

On the last day of the sports meet, we welcomed the climax of the event—the 2024 Corporate Public Welfare Action. All company personnel went to Zhangjiawan Forest Farm in Tongzhou District to plant trees, and the final evaluation of the tree-planting activity determined the champion of the "0" Carbon Sports Meet.
Under the guidance of the forest farm staff, everyone picked up their tree-planting tools and earnestly engaged in the activity. From digging holes, filling soil, watering, to hanging tags, every step was infused with sweat and anticipation.
