Early in April, a spring sports event focused on low-carbon and green living quietly began at Carbonstop, culminating on the 54th World Earth Day with a visit to Nanhaizi Park, Beijing's largest wetland park, marking the grand finale of the event.
This green sports event accompanied every Carbonstopper throughout the spring, bringing everyone closer to nature, where they could exude youthful vigor and sow seeds of low-carbon living and green working in their hearts.
At Carbonstop, a seed of green intent sprouts in the heart of every Carbonstopper, quietly growing every day, integrating the concept of green and low-carbon living into the details of life and work, spontaneously practicing low-carbon travel and green office living on a daily basis.

Green Sports Event
/ Starting with the 'Ten Low-Carbon Actions' /
The "Ten Low-Carbon Actions" are ten low-carbon scenarios that Carbonstoppers practice in their work and daily lives, and this green sports event started with them.
Part 1. Save Electricity, "Switch Off Switch Off Switch Off"
[Off] 1. Do not turn on air conditioning unless necessary;
[Off] 2. Turn off computer screens during lunch breaks and promptly switch off personal power sources;
[Off] 3. Promptly turn off company power sources after meetings or at the end of the workday;
Part 2. Treasure Water Resources, "Save Save Save"
[Save] 4.1 Bring your own water cup, drink less or no bottled water;
[Save] 4.2 Drink according to your capacity, do not leave water in the cup at the end of the day;
Part 3. Conserve Non-Renewable Energy, "Conserve Conserve Conserve"
[Conserve] 5. Prefer walking, cycling, taking buses, or subways for low-carbon travel;
[Conserve] 6. Practice the "Clean Plate Campaign" during meals, encourage bringing your own utensils;
[Conserve] 7. Sort waste, place recyclables like plastic bottles and cardboard boxes in designated locations at the company;
[Conserve] 8. Avoid unnecessary color printing, prefer double-sided and black-and-white printing;
[Conserve] 9. Prefer electronic seals, reduce the frequency of using physical seals;
[Conserve] 10. Choose new energy vehicles, high-speed trains, or other relatively low-emission modes of transportation for outings and business trips.
If participants practiced green and low-carbon behaviors such as low-carbon travel, not using disposable tableware, turning off power sources when leaving, and paperless office work during the sports event, they could record these actions in the "Carbon Account" mini-program, earning points and carbon reduction credits. Those who failed to complete mandatory check-in tasks would receive corresponding penalties in the final match.
Carbonstop hopes that through the "Ten Low-Carbon Actions" check-in activity, the low-carbon daily routines of Carbonstoppers will be recorded, further motivating everyone to continue practicing low-carbon behaviors, becoming practitioners and advocates of green and low-carbon living, contributing to climate change mitigation.

Green Competitive Sport "Ultimate Frisbee"
/ Deciding the Mode of Transport to the Final Venue /
Ultimate Frisbee is a novel and lively sport with strong competitiveness and entertainment value, favored by Carbonstop team members over the past two years.

Ultimate Frisbee was played in a round-robin format among six teams composed of Carbonstoppers. Winning teams accumulated points, and the ranking of points determined the mode of transport to the final venue, ranging from highly competitive electric scooters and stylish road racing bikes to the most environmentally friendly combination of shared bicycles and running. Each method had its unique charm and ways to win the game.

To gain an advantage in the final, all participants put in their best efforts during the Ultimate Frisbee matches. Team leaders showcased their skills, organizing pre-match training, devising strategies, and even purchasing equipment to ensure victory and earn points.

"Fun Triathlon"
/ The Final Match /
The final event was the "Fun Triathlon" held at Nanhaizi Park, consisting of three segments: "Low-Carbon Travel," "Team Relay Run," and "Push-ups." The team with the shortest total time won the championship.
"Low-Carbon Travel" required participants to travel from the company to Nanhaizi Park via green and low-carbon means such as shared bicycles, electric scooters, road racing bikes, or a combination of shared bicycles and running. The specific mode was determined by the results of the Ultimate Frisbee matches, adding an element of surprise to the competition, with the outcome uncertain until the last moment.
"Team Relay Run" involved participants relaying a run of 2,000 meters, with flags representing years from 2011 to 2023 placed at each relay station, symbolizing the journey of Carbonstop since its founding.
Participants from six teams started simultaneously from "2011" and relayed towards "2023," reflecting how Carbonstop has grown over the years, thanks to the collective efforts of all members, running towards a brighter future!
"Push-ups" tested endurance and teamwork, with each team member contributing to a cumulative total of 100 push-ups. There was no limit to the number of participants, allowing everyone to contribute to the team effort.
