At the final of the "BYD Developer Innovation Competition" held this month,Carbonstop made it into the top ten, securing third place.
The BYD Developer Innovation Competition, themed “Wireless Connection, Endless Vitality,” integrates developers into BYD’s smart open ecosystem, fostering resource sharing, openness, and mutual benefits, to create innovative in-car applications that meet user needs, leading the way in the smart automotive ecosystem.
In the finals, a jury composed of representatives from BYD, investment institutions, and technical experts evaluated the top ten entries based on dimensions such as technical proficiency, innovation, commercial value, team strength, and on-site performance.
Carbonstop's Participation Proposal
Starting from an environmental perspective, Carbonstop's entry leverages technological innovation to promote the low-carbon development of China's automotive industry, contributing to the goals of peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality.

By establishing a carbon account points mechanism, Carbonstop's proposal connects individual users with the carbon trading market, rewarding drivers for low-carbon driving habits. The benefits derived from low-carbon driving are then returned to the owners through incentive programs, thereby cultivating a habit of low-carbon driving, educating consumers, and building an environmentally friendly transportation system.

Carbon Reduction Calculation Methodology
The most critical aspect of the proposal is how to calculate the carbon reduction achieved by drivers.

To achieve this, Carbonstop employs a series of procedures developed from years of experience: adhering to principles of authenticity and proximity, using international standards, and leveraging Carbonstop's database of over 100,000 carbon emission factors to conduct scientific calculations.
