On November 15, 2024, the Anta Group successfully hosted the 2024 Apparel and Accessories Supplier Partners Conference. Anta Group's Executive Director and Co-CEO, Lai Shixian, attended the conference and delivered a speech. During the banquet of the conference, outstanding partners were honored. Anta Group has formulated a '1+3+5' sustainable strategic goal, proposing to "lead all supply chain partners to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050." To respond to this goal, with the support of Carbonstop, the entire event's carbon emissions were comprehensively and professionally calculated during this conference, inspiring supply chain partners to take action in their daily production and life to reduce their carbon footprint and work together for a green and low-carbon future.

Based on the UNEP's Green Meeting Guidelines and the Guidelines for Implementing Carbon Neutrality in Large-scale Events (Trial), Carbonstop collected activity data, identified emission sources such as venue lighting and display electricity use, activity item usage and disposal, participants' accommodation, food, and transportation, and selected authoritative factors to ultimately calculate the total carbon emissions of the entire meeting.

To enhance the environmental awareness and participation of attendees, Carbonstop developed a simple and user-friendly mini-program for this event, helping participants independently calculate their carbon emissions during the conference. Attendees only need to input information such as mode of travel, starting point, and destination to quickly calculate the carbon emissions of multiple trips. The mini-program also covers the calculation of carbon emissions from accommodation, dining, and other aspects, presenting carbon emission data intuitively through common items like electricity consumption and clothing, allowing attendees to more vividly understand the impact of their behavior on the environment, calling on and encouraging them to choose a more environmentally friendly lifestyle and contribute to sustainable development._1732267853085987.jpeg)
Through this conference, Anta Group not only strengthened cooperation and communication with suppliers but also successfully implemented the concept of low carbon into the event. By calculating their own carbon footprint, participants gained a tangible understanding of how different modes of personal transportation, accommodation, and dining can actually affect the carbon emissions of a conference.
Carbonstop and Anta maintain a long-term and close cooperative relationship. Carbonstop not only assisted in launching Anta's carbon-neutral storm jacket “Storm Armor”, provided precise and scientific carbon data support for Anta's Zero Carbon Mission Store, but also supported the carbon footprint accounting and offset of the Chinese Olympic delegation's award ceremony attire for the 2024 Paris Olympics. This time, by supporting the carbon footprint calculation of the Anta Supplier Partners Conference, making personal carbon footprint data visible and visual, it made carbon management at the conference more intuitive and efficient. It is believed that in the future, under the joint efforts of Anta and Carbonstop, the concept of carbon footprint will become increasingly popular and set new green benchmarks for the entire sports footwear and apparel industry's carbon reduction actions.
