Recently, this year's CDP scores have been officially announced. CDP is an international non-profit organization headquartered in London, dedicated to driving companies, cities, and governments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, protect water resources, and forests. CDP is rated by investors as the world's top climate research institution. In 2020, over 9,600 companies, 800 cities, and 120 regions disclosed environmental data through CDP, making the CDP platform one of the richest sources of information on the efforts of global companies and governments to drive environmental change. Formerly known as the "Carbon Disclosure Project," CDP is a founding member of the Global Business Climate Alliance (We Mean Business Coalition).
Carbonstop has provided consulting support to CDP supply chain companies for several consecutive years, helping clients achieve good results. If there were rankings in this field, Carbonstop would undoubtedly be the leader.
Looking back, our achievements have been remarkable:
During the "seasons" of 2015-2016, Carbonstop assisted companies such as Ronghua (Qingyuan) Offset Printing Co., Ltd. and Jiangxi Black Cat Carbon Black Co., Ltd. to complete annual carbon emission calculations and online submissions of CDP questionnaires. Our initial success saw the companies we served achieving an average score of 90, far exceeding the global average score of 60 that year.
During the "seasons" of 2016-2017, Carbonstop helped companies such as Qiaxing Packaging Industry, BOE Technology Group, Jiangxi Black Cat Carbon Black, Shenma Industry, Bestway (HK) International, and others from different industries complete the submission of CDP questionnaires. For two consecutive years, among the best suppliers in China for climate change response published by CDP, more than half were clients served by Carbonstop.
During the "seasons" of 2017-2018, Carbonstop assisted companies such as Xingzhong Group, Qiaxing Packaging, Shenma Industry, Shandong Hailong Bolai, Jiangxi Black Cat Carbon Black, Rongwei International, and Ronghua Printing from various industries to complete the submission of CDP questionnaires and related auxiliary services, once again achieving excellent results.
During the "seasons" of 2018-2019, Carbonstop experienced a breakout period. We continued to provide carbon emission management-related services (including annual carbon emission inventories and ISO14064 verification assistance, setting energy-saving and emission reduction targets, analyzing climate change risks and opportunities for companies, and filling out supply chain questionnaires) to supply chain companies such as Qiaxing and Ronghua. Among the 7 clients served by Carbonstop, 1 achieved an A- rating and 6 achieved B ratings, a remarkable achievement!
Looking to the future, we still have much to win.
