On February 7, the global environmental information research center (CDP) announced the results of the 2024 Global Corporate Environmental Information Questionnaire Rating.
Carbonstop collaborated with multiple enterprises to achieve remarkable success again. All clients participating in this CDP assessment received outstanding results of B-level and above, spanning multiple industries including packaging, footwear and apparel, biomedicine, energy, and more. Despite the increased difficulty of the questionnaire content this year, the clients served by Carbonstop achieved a 100% B-level or higher rating in three key questionnaires: climate, water, and forests. Four questionnaires even received an A-level score, showcasing their leading position in environmental responsibility and transparency within the industry.
Since its establishment, Carbonstop has provided CDP-related services to over 100 Fortune Global 500 companies and their supply chain enterprises, helping these companies achieve leadership-level scores more than 50 times in CDP questionnaires. In 2024, CDP reached an unprecedented scale, inviting more than 70,000 companies worldwide to participate in the questionnaire process, including over 8,000 Chinese enterprises.
To help enterprises better disclose environmental information and facilitate climate transformation, Carbonstop became an official partner of the CDP Global Environmental Information Research Center last year. The event invited CDP Global CEO Sherry Madera, CDP Global Disclosure Co-Director Fei Li, Asia-Pacific Director of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol at the World Resources Institute Fang Weiquan, WWF Senior Project Manager Tang Weimin, representatives from three key institutions initiating SBTi, as well as top experts and leading enterprises in the global sustainability field to share cutting-edge carbon management insights and disclosure methods, empowering enterprises to accurately address the increasingly severe challenges of environmental information disclosure.
In response to this year’s adjustments and increased difficulty in the questionnaire content, many enterprises faced challenges during the assessment, resulting in a general decline in scores. However, under the professional guidance of Carbonstop, the serviced clients still stood out and achieved excellent results. To help enterprises deeply analyze the CDP assessment results and accurately identify strengths and weaknesses in carbon management and information disclosure, Carbonstop specially launched Score Analysis Services. Based on detailed CDP evaluation scores, this service closely integrates with the actual operational conditions of enterprises, providing personalized analyses of lost points and optimization strategies. Through this service, enterprises can clearly understand improvement areas in carbon reduction, energy management, supply chain transparency, and more, while also receiving customized improvement plans. This lays a solid foundation for future CDP assessments and environmental practices, continuously driving enterprises toward achieving higher scores.
