The 2025 Government Work Report explicitly proposed to conduct carbon footprint accounting and establish a product carbon footprint management system and carbon labeling certification system to actively respond to green trade barriers. Based on this background, the Equipment Center and Carbonstop have engaged in deep cooperation to jointly construct the Vehicle Power Battery Carbon Footprint Accounting Platform serving the entire industry. A relevant official from the First Department of Equipment Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated regarding related matters: "Conducting data reporting is an important
exploration to promote the establishment of a power battery carbon footprint management system... The period before the end of 2026 is the trial operation phase... From 2027, it will enter the regular reporting phase, subsequently covering all product models of enterprises to ensure the work progresses smoothly and orderly."
